G1 Group Secures 3,250 Hours Of Employment For Disadvantaged People Via It’s Newly Announced Partnership With The Soap Co

The G1 Group today announced a new partnership with The Soap Co, a Social Enterprise which aims to provide job security for blind, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged people all over the UK. The move, which will see G1 stock the products exclusively across its entire hotel portfolio, is a big commitment from the hospitality group, who say they want their guests to “feel good about doing good.”

It is also a huge win for The Soap Co, and marks their most significant foray into the hotel market. The Soap Co products, which are crafted in small batches and are also vegan and 100% cruelty free, are the high end luxury collection from CLARITY & Co., a registered charity that has been providing meaningful employment since being established in 1854. Guests visiting G1 venues such as the historic Scotsman Hotel, the boutique Inn On The Mile, or the quirky Stay Central, will enjoy products such as the uplifting Geranium & Rhubarb shampoo and body wash, or the intoxicating Black Poppy & Wild Fig hand wash and hand lotion.

The launch is just the first in a series of steps G1 Group and CLARITY & Co. will take together- G1’s wider portfolio of restaurants, cinemas and hotel encompasses over 50 venues, and today their Chief Operating Officer Lesley Welsh revealed plans for an estate-wide roll out of BECỌ, another CLARITY & Co. brand which promises to put “change in your hands” with their hypoallergenic, paraben and SLS free hand wash. The launches, which will happen across the next several months in cities from Glasgow to Aberdeen, will be the latest step in G1 Group’s plans to do good in an everyday way.
