Staff and patrons of The Bothy in Perth were treated to an unexpected famous face this month, when Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry stopped by for a bite to eat.
Mary, who was part of a larger group of 17 who ate in the restaurants private dining room, enjoyed a customer favourite goats cheese filo parcel to start, followed by a crayfish and pea risotto.
Mary’s visit comes just as the venue launches their brand new menu- and as Mary is a known supporter of local produce and provenance, we are sure she would approve of no less than a dozen local suppliers the restaurant now works closely with. From beef sourced all the way up north in Orkney, to cheese from the lovely Isle Of Arran, The Bothy aims to deliver the very best of Scotland’s larder.
