45 New Jobs Created As G1 Introduces Award Winning Restaurant & Bar To Broughty Ferry

Broughty Ferry welcomes a new jobs boost this autumn as St Andrew’s favourite Forgan’s looks set to set up shop in the heart of the town. Previously the site of Robertson’s Butchers, the site is set to be transformed after a substantial investment and careful restoration by operators G1 Group.

The venue, set to open sometime in September, will offer the same trademark Private Bothys as its sister venue, a charming collection of semi-private dining and celebration spaces full of individual character and little touches. The brainchild of acclaimed designed Jim Hamilton, who’s past work included the original Forgan’s as well as The Corinthian Club in Glasgow and Tigerlilly in Edinburgh, it’s set to bring something completely different to the drinking and dining scene in the area.

Aylin Sulo, who will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the new venue as well as the original, says of the project-
“We are beyond delighted to continue the story of Forgan’s in Broughty Ferry- this isn’t a case of “mass expansion” but a careful and considerate decision to bring something truly special to somewhere we really feel is a natural fit for the brand and offer. We are thrilled to be continuing recruitment with an emphasis on hiring locals, and we are still currently recruiting for almost all positions, so please do get in touch on jobs@forgansbroughtyferry.co.uk
