Doll’s House restaurant unveils annual cheque to charity partner “Families First” as part of long running Sunday roast initiative
The management at The Doll’s House were delighted to invite local charity Families First into the venue this week, where they collected a cheque for over five hundred pounds as part of a long running relationship between the local restaurant and the small North East Fife charity.
The Doll’s House, which is owned and operated by G1 Group, first made the donation pledge in 2015 when they re-opened under the ownership of the group- promising that 50p from every Sunday Roast sold would go directly to Families First. This has resulted in a combined contribution of over £2000, an amount which the Charity has said goes “a long way” to helping local families who have children with additional support needs.
Davide Pereira, Assistant Manager at The Doll’s House said-
“We work hard all year to tell our customers & our community about Families First and how they can help us make a difference, so it is always a proud moment when we get to present the results of our efforts directly to the charity themselves.”
Morag Coleman, Manager of Families First, also said of the donation-
“We have been supported by The Doll’s House and G1 Group for a number of years now, and we are truly delighted to count of them as one of our current benefactors. We really value our local donors, and look forward to working with Doll’s House in the future.”
